Bonnet support rod

Hullo , when the bonnet is closed , the support rod on my RHD car pivots from the left and lays across to the right where it is held in place by a retaining bracket of some sort ? , would anyone have a photo of the bracket? .Thanks, Merry Xmas.

the bonnet support rod is held in place in a U clip generally attached under the tab that activates the hood light. There is also a round rubber grommet for the rod. Hard to find but easy to make one yourself
the rubber grommet is available thru @daddywad

I had this part on my CSL but it was lost during the removal of the seal it sits under. It's only anchored to the firewall by the seal itself so be very careful if you remove that seal for any reason. I need to get one made now as they are NLA and quite rare. Another little CSL specific part that is hens tooth rare. Seemingly insignificant until it's lost!
