Boot/Trunk springs

Does anyone know how the boot/trunk springs are supposed to look? Are they painted body colour or plated? Also are the rubber blocks at each side painted too?

Everything is painted, as far as I know.
The exception might be the 2 black, plastic separators.

Yeah its hard to imagine they painted them all separately but thats how it seems. In that case I would imagine the rubbber pads are to be black - anyone know for sure?

Paint on trunk springs

springs are painted same color as body--little black separation "thingies" as well as the hinge caps are of a black plastic material.
