Who is always interested in anything with T51 stamped on it!
It appears to be slightly larger in diameter than the T51 used on the 2002 ti/tii/turbo. It also uses a different vacuum hose connection. Is this originally from an e9? Can you tell me what the diameter is?

Ooops, I ignored the tape measure in the pics. It looks like it is around 10" in diameter and 6 or 7" long. Which CS uses this version of the T51?
This booster was fitted to E12, E9, E24 and E3 models. Realoem shows part number 34331112420 for this unit. I do not know which E9 got the slimmer one or which ones got this style, but the above source says 1971-1975 Coupes may have this type. This one in particular came from an E3.
The 2800CS had the thinner booster and slightly larger MC. And booster outlet is next to the fender on these larger ones, same as e12 too.

I'll take it for $75 plus shipping! Actually, I just need a model to help produce a version of the ti/tii 7" booster for the e9s with side draft conversions. I've been doing this for the 2002s by repurposing vintage contemporary T51s since the BMW version is becoming very scarce.
This same unit used on earlier Mercedes as well. Used units tagged for MB are often offered for much higher prices. Used parts pricing not perfect. I do remain open to offers.
