WTB: rear E9 3.0 brake caliber for ventilated brake disk is any one have pair of caliber I will buy any condition

I have seen lots of rebuilt non-ventilated versions offered. If you can get the O-rings and spacers from the ventilated versions you should be able to split the non-ventilated calipers and convert them to ventilated calipers.

Since the rear brakes maybe do 20% of the stopping on a good day, unless you are tracking the car, why bother?

Hello, will you explain little more please I am not tracking at all
The front brakes handle up to 75-80% of a vehicle’s braking load and generate much more heat than the rears. The fronts can spike to over 500°F maybe even 1000f on a true track car during heavy/aggressive braking.

“The rear brake is designed to provide stability, or else they would lock up every time you hit the brake pedal.”

When you hit the brakes as the car moves forward: The vehicle’s center of gravity shifts forward. This shift puts more weight and more momentum on the front wheel, The front wheels gain more traction and can take more braking force to stop the car.
Because of this brake bias(ratio of front to rear) provides more front bias.

Since the rears don’t do as much stopping, they generate less heat, if they generate less heat they don’t need to be vented(unless racing)
