My 1971 2800CS RHD has developed an issue where when braking to a stop, wether hard or just slowing, the brakes stay on, usually for a short time then release. This doesn't happen ever time I brake. The master cylinder was overhauled not long ago, the boosters were rebuilt about 7 years ago. I have just fitted new front calipers, rebuilt rear calipers, new braided brake hoses all round. It's still happening. I only do about 400 - 600 miles each year. The problem started about 2-3 years ago. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Keen to hear other thoughts on this but RHD cars have different boosters, and they can be a problem. If brakes are staying on too long I wonder if you have a vacuum issue or leak in booster. Is it all the brakes or just the front ones?

Thanks for reply.
Vacuum doesn't appear to be a problem. I haven'tt been able to pin down front, rear or left or right. They don't stay on long enough. As soon as I even push the car the brakes come off.

Have you bled the lines? Air bubble? My advice is test every component and work through the system to try and isolate the issue. First step would be is it all brakes or just front etc, then work back to boosters, lines etc. The only things it can be is air in lines or faulty component(s)..

Given all the parts you’ve replaced it points to the boosters. There are filter pads in the air valve held in by a wire clip. If they’re blocked it could restrict air flow and hold the vacuum a bit longer. If you hold your hand against them while someone pushes the pedal, on release you should feel a strong sucking, and hear a rush of air.
