I recently visted my English friend and his American family in NY State for Thanksgiving. We had fun, visited Watkins Glen where he uses his track car sadly it was closed, so we upseabbas wife by firing up his track car in his garden. However cutting to the chase, we also visited a scrap car dealer near the Glen, plenty of old classics inc a Bavaria from which I bought parts for my RHD E9. So if anyone is interested let me know as I have details and rough photos.
Then we visited Hunting Ridge Motors in Danbury, Connecticut. Saw a collection of great E9s, inc Scotts pride and joy a blue CS and Marks beast of a cream CS race machine, they were really friendly, very helpful and even took us for a spin in the race machine, it went like a rocket and sat very firm on the road. It convinced me to upgrade the suspension on mine, but not that far.
They had 4 CSs for sale, if anyone is interested i have photos.
