Bulbs for heater controls?

In the process of getting the odometer fixed I found that the little bulbs for the heater controls are burned out. These look like miniature push in flash bulbs from the 70s. Any idea where I can get replacements?

The bottom of the glass is flattened, and the two wires from either end of the filament come through and are bent over - right?

If I am describing the correct bulbs, they are fairly common - any consumer automotive store should carry them. Here on the West Coast, we have stores like AutoZone, Kraegen, PepBoys that carry an assortment of bulbs, and these should be among them.

Thanks. That's the ones. I looked through the orange books, but couldn't find them. I thought that it was going to be difficult.

Hey guys, I'm kind of confused, I did not know the coupes came with ventilation control lightings other than the small single steering column prism light. Were some CS's outfitted with these bulbs?

I bet that most Coupes have the bulbs, but they are all burned out.

Is this correct? I don't recall seeing any bulbs on my heater contol when my coupe was in pieces.

They are 1,2 W special lamps. I had my local (general) auto part supply shop order me a box of 10. Unfortunately the box is in my garage in Switzerland, so I cannot give you the Philips part number.
I think the heater display required 2 lamps.

Not sure of the exact split date but...
72 and earlier: solid casting with no heater panel lights
~73 and later: casting with light pipe insert and heater panel lights

Thank you for the clarification. This bulbed panel in english is now on my wish list.

Lights or no lights??
I believe that it was a question of market/destination of the car. All my cars, ranging from 1969 to 1974, have the lighting behind the words (describing the action: on/off, hot/cold/ up/down etc etc). All were delivered new in Europe. The wording in the lit signs are in German.
Good enough in Europe but not in the US, which hence got symbols rather than German wording?!?!?!?!

lights or symbols--Euro or US spec

BLUMAX--US spec #16 came sans lighting with symbols--but after a few years easily memorized as to location and function--hhhmmm lets see--what does that square symbol next to the lever mean :?:

Autozone had the bulbs, #2721. 12V, 1.2W. $3.80 per pair. The same bulb is used by Audi, Volvo, Porsche, and Mercedes. They don't light the heater controls up much.

Not quite as simple as that. I used to have a CSi (original delivery Italy) which had symbols and no lights
