Just refitting the rubber strips to the front bumpers and I cant seem to get rid of the wrinkles where it goes into the metal part at the outside ends. Any help appreciated.

No experience from my side, but would removing a ' pizza slice ' from behind not solve it?

Trim the rubber end that goes into the bumper by tapering it slightly. Be sure to keep the cut short enough to stay hidden inside the bumper. I don't know if this will help but that's how they installed the rubber piece when they were new. Look at your out rubber pieces as a guide.
