Really depends on how much rust and how many/big dents. I think $1000 for everything without a closer exam might be reasonable. But it could be high or very low if there’s more dirt than corrosion & they could be cleaned up for decent drivers for a while w/o re-chrome.
The cost of fixing rust and a lot of dents/pitting can jack up the re-chrome price beyond what you can purchase a restored set for. Often they rust on the back side. I have a set where chrome remains on the face near the ends but there is almost zero metal left behind it. While the overriders & brackets add value, they can be a point of rust/failure. If you separate the pieces, clean them up, and take an annoying amount of photos, you’ll get best price. No-dent/no rust center pieces & overriders can be hard to find.
Edit: When I say “clean them up,” I don’t mean doing any sanding, etc. Chrome guys tell you it’s better if they remove old nickel, copper, chrome, & fix pits—almost always costs more to re-do others’ attempts to correct them. Don’t know if that’s true, but I’ve heard it enough now, to believe they’ll make it true.
