Hi: I have a friend who needs one or a set of the porcelin emblems for the C pillars. Who has these available?

Thanks,

I bought a set for my car a few years back

I think I paid $177.00 for the set off eBay. I may have gotten lucky I guess.

Beware of the newly manufactured ones with thick, smooth pins. They are very fragile as the pins need to be bent a bit to fit. That´s when they crack.
After having destroyed a set, I went back to the original ones with thinner threaded pins. The letters and edge might look a bit worn, but the overall appearance is much better in my opinion (compared to the new ones in undamaged condition).

BMW had a batch of new ones made and Maximillian shows them as available.
HOWEVER, from what I have heard, they are very fragile and the enamel? often chips. That was often a problem with the originals too. Plus they would fade over time.

Part #1.

The new ones from BMW are available and are cloisionne, but the color is totally wrong. More purple than blue, I think they look awful on the car, totally different from all the other Roundels on the car. Not sure why BMW decided to sell them anyway, but you should save your money and find some old ones, sometimes on German eBay.
