The Caffeine & Octane TV show (on NBC/SN here in the US) airs new shows each Tuesday evening at 8pm ET. They are currently featuring a series that they shot last spring at the Amelia Island Concours. One of the segments tonight was the Alan Petersen "6.0 CSR," which is an E9 body mated to a Corvette chassis and drivetrain. The LS engine was even made to look like a BMW V8 -- sort of. Actually a remarkable vehicle, if that's your thing.
Each episode reruns several times, if you missed it. More info at https://caffeineandoctane.com/
I attended Amelia this year in our '72 2002 Baur Targa Cabriolet. The C&O crew took a particular interest in the car and filmed a segment that is scheduled to air Oct 19. I mumbled and stumbled through the chat with Skip Smith but it was fun. Here's an outtake after the shoot with the C&O crew.
