I wasn’t planning to keep this one.

It was the last of a small collection and the idea was to move it along as-is. But the more time I spent with it, the more it pushed back on that plan. Solid car. Honest. Deserved to be sorted properly.

It started life in California, spent time in Oregon, and made its way up to Canada roughly twenty years ago. It’s only just now gone through the full federal and provincial inspection process and is finally licensed here in British Columbia.

Getting it there meant going through the car in a fairly methodical way — not a restoration, just careful sorting. Fix what matters, understand what’s there, don’t overreach.

There were a few expected things and a few less so. Some previous work to untangle, some systems that needed to be brought back into a known state. Nothing dramatic, but it adds up. The kind of car where each small decision matters.

It’s now at the point where it can be driven and evaluated properly, which is really where these cars start to tell you what they need next.

Not sure of the best way to post videos. But here is a quick around with its fresh BC PLATE.

I’ve already benefited from a lot of the knowledge buried in these threads, so thanks to those who’ve documented things before me.

Allister—
