Hey guys,
Does any know the bmw part number of the cam nose adaptor, that allows you to run our early distributor on a late m30 engine?
Also, I will be running my zenith carbs on this engine and the late head does not have a mechanical fuel pump.
What is the best electric fuel pump set up for this?
With an electric pump, how do you regulate the fuel flow, ie more when rpms are higher, and making sure it does not over fill the carbs when at idle?
Thx Mike

Oof..............electric fuel pumps are a necessary evil I guess. I installed a Facet in my CS. You'll need a fuel regulator installed inline, before the carbs. They're relatively cheap and very easy to install.

I don't recall the part # of the big "jesus" nut, but a quick call to any of the usual specialists should be able to get you one for less than $10.

I actually have that part, I didn't use it when I decided to go Motronic. We can work something out, if you wish. Shoot me an email.
