Campagnolo wheels ??

Just came across this thread - I saw a set of these wheels in 2010 for sale in Italy and had to have them. But I built an NK around them, using e9 front hubs and a compete e9 rear subframe. Such fantastic looking and incredibly rare wheels.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for this picture, they look absolutely fantastic on your car. Hopefully one day we will some pictures of them on an E9.

Welcome to the E9 forum.

Pete

These wheels are Campy "Americas." My Euro Alfa GTV was ordered with them when new from an Alfa dealer accessory catalog. Various other Campys could have been ordered as well. Euro-delivered BMWs would naturally be best bet for finding these (or just Euro-country E-Bay).

They kind of ring an Alfa late GTV/Alfetta bell...but those appear to be 4 lug, not 5 as shown in your pic...and 14". Have a couple of pics of the Alfas that don't seem to want to load right this minute...I'll edit. (Edited...sorry for the lousy pics) Those are handsome, and probably about as easy to clean as Alpinas :)

the good news is that the time period this design was made, mid / late 70s, only BMWs with 5 bolt holes were for cars that used the similar offset - e3, e9, e12, e23, e24

For BMW 2002, not cheap

I plan to use Campagnolos for the Fulvia Zagato Daytona, 13 inch.
