Yes,
Bosch 0 227 051 015
transistor ignition.

Got that also in the shelf, ready to install, just still search the rubber cover for wires.

But, why do you have 2 coils???

Good question trying to figure this out. It’s an early Alpina race car. Look at the secondary box which also has leads going to main box and coil it seems?
My guess is it’s a backup if one fails

This is a tsz-k module.
Tsz-k is a transistorized ignition activated by the signal from a mechanical distributor.

Such modules were used on Mercedes and Ford cars in the sixties and early seventies.

I have that installed since 2010

bosch transistorzundung
never changed points since
works very good
be careful, it is an specific coil that you need

here it is the details…

Almost looks like it’s not hooked up and just for show The spark seems to be coming off the non specialty coil

kind of surprising oil fumes’ box, is that a water box for the wipers?
Yes it is!
Just as it was back in 1970. Thrown together with whatever was easily at hand no doubt. Check out the bit of blue plastic bucket used around the fuel filler neck.

Yes the cars were very basic built off a fairly stock car. The blue bucket kept rain water from entering the trunk. A washer bottle for a catch can. No headrests on the seats etc.
