purple and brown (the ring terminal one; I assume it goes to ground).
is one brown?
other looks like vio/blk
vio/blk goes to wiper washer motor
also thats looks like the proper connector for the motor

Agree - no connectors were that small in the early 1970's.
I thought some of the emissions wiring may have used that connector.
Looked under my parts car dash which is completely open. I didn't spot anything that looked like that...
it's not for the reverse light switch from the transmission right?
Seat belt warning wire that goes under the carpet under the seat?
That could be. This came in a box w/a bunch if power mirror wiring, but it's not for that, so I'm thinking it came from a late, mid-70s model E3 or E9.
