Can the coolant tank handle powdercotaing?

Can the coolant tank handle powdercoating?

I'd have to heat this part to 400F to powdercoat it. Do you think the solder can handle this, or is painting preferable? If paint, were they originally Glossy or Satin?

Painting is the easiest, SEM Trim Black which is satin is best. All black is satin, no gloss.

Powder Coating

Do not powder coat, I know from experience as you are correct, it will fall apart.
