This 1971 BMW 2800CS (chassis 2203090) has been re-listed several times with a steadily dropping BIN. Rust is said to be pervasive, particularly in the floors, though photos don’t help to illustrate its severity unfortunately. Non-running, it doesn’t sound as if any attempt to turn the engine over has been made, but as a largely complete looking car with good glass it should be good for a parts donor at the least. Find it here on eBay in Vancouver, Canada with a $2,500 BIN.
 
Funny how people will try to squeeze the last dollar out of something worth so little... I'm absolutely positive I've left money on the table with every car I've sold and probably over paid (I like to call it paying ahead) for most of the cars I've bought... oh well.

Markos: man, if I were a little closer to this... I have a line on an engine with 33 thousand on it (built very well - similar to the Kormann builds). 3500 bucks -- pretty good deal, since he paid this builder @ 12k...
I may want to buy some parts from you if you part it out.
 
I'm still working on rusted E9 number one. This would be a perfect compliment to my project, but I have neither the space, nor the household approval on establishing an E9 chop shop. Sadly, it's the same year, make, and color as the one that I'm supposed to purchase.
