Has anyone seen an E-9 with a car bra? I'm was thinking of what 70's - 80's era goodies may have been made for our cars and this came to mind. I've seen them of 2002's, but never a CS.

Yuck, not a very good look and a moisture trap. With a face like the CS, why would one want to cover it up. Kind of dorky looking IMO!

I purchased one from Peter S. several years ago. Fits fine on a '74, but is really made for smaller bumpers. Also flaps a bit at high speed. I use it very sparingly and never in wet conditions.

Great for a road trip or headed to a concours but haven't seen any either. Used one on an 02 back in the day, no flapping.

Before my long drive to bmwcca oktoberfest I looked for a bra to ward off highway rocks and bugs. Unavailable from current manufacturers (still avail for 2002's). I ended up using a combination of Roadwrap and masking tape to cover the front and lights but leaving a gap for air to get to the radiator. Worked great, and a lot cheaper and didn't touch the paint.

what about speed film ... or the 3m clear material. most porsche owners (current 911 + cayman owners) have it on their lower hood to prevent rock chips. can be removed without damage to paint.

That sounds appealing for around the kidney grill and below the aluminum strip. That is the area that gets most of the abuse.
