Car Porn

Downtown Los Angeles. 5 or 6 years ago this was place was only criminals and homeless.

Added a few more cars to the album. Somewhere in this building is a white Ferrari FF, but Im not sure where. My favorite is still the murdered out R8.

You are a natural researcher Steve. You must have toiled through countless pages of nude women to find that!

You turn the corner, and there is a McLaren. Just parked like a random Toyota...

Because I got in early, over 35 years ago, I am living in a township in Bucks County PA with long long driveways, private airstrips and helipads. It is amazing what is parked in front of the local wine store on Saturday.

But what I find interesting from a sociological point of view is sudden increase in Masarratis. I am so out of that league I can't even spell it correctly. Within the last month I have spotted at least six Quadraportes and four Coupes. The Quads are my all current favorite four-door sedan. The Coupes are pretty generic with so swoopy lines that set them apart from the others of their ilk.

Your thoughts Coupesters?

I like the Masers and if they made a manual I would have a GTS as my primary new car. (Although the 1M is pretty nice as well.) The thing about Masers is that they depreciate like throwing a rock out a window - a work colleague just bought a 4 year old QP that was about $150k new for around $60k, with about 18k miles. He was worried about buying out of warranty until I pointed out that he could buy almost two more equally used ones for the price of a new one.

You guys are lucky ...a new Quattroporte in OZ is close to US$300k . A 4 year old one about $140k ...9 year old about $70k . Beautiful cars though . Oh well ,back to the Austin A30
