I think probably realistic, especially for German youngtimers. Maybe their old valuations were just lagging the actual market, though.

British car values are going nowhere, as usual. Porsches are nutso, new and vintage.

I think values have to plateau soon, with the imminent softening of the economy.

I think 2021 showed a lot of increase but now we are in a slight downward trend. Although that last one that went for 130,000 seemed like 2021 prices. If you look in the FAQ there are some insites:

I received a similar email suggesting that I raise my 2800CS from $80K to $93,500 and my 02 from $40K to $47K. I'm glad to see that the 2800CS prices are starting to get more aligned with the 3.0. I'm considering the increase on the CS but I struggle with the 02 recommendation. I increased it to $40K last Spring after the motor rebuild and some other upgrades. I thought that was aggressive!

......and if values go down what do they do? Nothing or do you get a notice to decrease coverage and your premium....that will happen, not

But with 'agreed value' coverage - if the street value goes down, but you have a policy stating a certain value and then (for whatever reason) you have a total loss - you get that agreed value in $$. If I am understanding that correctly....

It absolutely makes sense for the insurer to lower the agreed value and payment, else they create an incentive for you to make your car disappear. If you want to capture the peak market value you should use derivatives, not insurance policies.

Regarding the car value, with what is going on globally and the leaders in charge globally, if the car tank is full its value will keep increasing :). You may not be able to drive it, but it will appreciate.

No.... as we are downsizing in houses , i needed to move some cars.
My BMW850 , Porsche 928 and Morgan +4 sold rather "easy" .... but not the CS.
Not even much interest in the CS.....and i was afraid that would have been the first car to go , as i like it the most !

O yes, one came inspect the car , wanted to start regularity events and some track days .... but he found the car needed a repaint ....:D
