Here are some pictures of a pair of carbs that I just did for a customer with a 2800CS They were vapor blasted by Kevin at Vaporblasters in Chilliwack, BC He ultrasonically cleaned them and then did his vaporblasting on them and then cleaned them again. Come out quite nice I did all the plating and powdercoating on the manifolds in house. Also some pictures of a set of calipers that I did for the same car , powder coated semi gloss black. I was going to plate them but they were so corroded on the outside, this was a better alternative. I think that they came out pretty good. I also powder coated the intake manifolds silver as well as the thermo housings

Thanks, Rick

Hi Rick, nice work.

Just a question; I see (and think) that you have also zinc plated the connection bar between the two carbs; it's the foot long rod with the plastic caps on the end.
Is it possible to just zinc plate it with these plastic bits still on there? Don't they melt by the heat?

Erik.

They actually pull out and no, there is not enough heat in the plating process to harm them, powder coating yes They use to be available but I just checked at the dealer a couple of days ago and they are NLA part # 13211250903 If anybody has a some new ones or want to some 3D printing, I would be in for 3 pair.

Thanks, Rick
