Carb. CSL for sale at Auto Kennel

absolutely ... my first guess is this is 2212186, but i didn't think that one was purchased until 2018. i know that 2211538 was on the coupeking website in 2010 (ish) ... so that's my best guess.

....taking my morning coffee, looking at some of the pics: deep sigh!
Why don't they just look at the first flyers and try to get it period correct, at least on a carb version.

The spoilers came later (btw, what happened to the rear spoiler?), below the front spoiler, the lower sides and rear parts below the bumper should be black colour, whereas black undercoating lets you only guess how it looks below.
What happened to the nose, plastic surgery went wrong? Same for the front trim and the left rear light surroundings.
It's always praiseworthy showing that you installed NOS parts, but leaving the part sticker on the water container?
Catching my eye on a quick look only,
anyway a nice looking and interesting object!

This car always had the front spoiler even when Chris owned it. I agree though why add bat stuff to a carb csl. not the coupe king csl. Their car had the same wrong spoiler.

I agree, but I think in 2003 this was a much less valued car than it is today. The owner set it up like he wanted it.

Today, the historic significance of this very early car is more valued, and therefore adherence to the original build spec is more valued.

Lovely car.
