Cars and Coffee @ Canepa, etc.

For those within a reasonable distance from Scotts Valley, Canepa is hosting an event on May 9th at their facility on Scotts Valley Drive. A few of my Mustang buddies are planning to go. I would enjoy seeing some of the local E9's and meet some of you. Hope some of you can make it. Here's the link:

In the "Somewhat Related Department" I was in SoCal last weekend and while there learned of the Derelict Donuts event Saturday morning in Huntington Beach. Having successfully opened my eyes at 5:00 a.m. I headed over there and the turn out before 6:00 a.m. was impressive. Of note to this crowd was a nice Black over Black E9. I was not able to connect the owner with the car so I do not know who it was. Any idea who that might have been?

I went earlier this month in my '66 Roadster. Shared the drive up Highway 17 with a Ferrari Lusso. The show was packed (with cars) by 830am and parking overflowed to across the street. Show up early!

The Mustang guys are planning to meet in San Jose, just off 17 (Camden) at 7:00 a.m. with a target arrival in Scotts Valley of 7:30. Hopefully that will be early enough. Anyone want to join the Mustang caravan over the hill, let me know and I will provide more details.

Great! Update on the Mustang guys: Meeting at the Chevron station (corner of Los Gatos-Saratoga Rd and N. Santa Cruz Ave) in Los Gatos with a target departure of 7:00 a.m. ETA is 7:30 a.m.@ Canepa.
