BMW - 3.0 CS - 1972

Unique, very original E9 BMW 3.0 CS, year of manufacture 1972. 180 hp/255 N⋅m, with the BMW 6-in-line M30 engine with dual Zenith carburettors. French registration - imported to Belgium (vignette E705) Starts, brakes and drives well. The engine rotates nicely, manual gearbox functions...

The leather-trimmed velour seats are interesting. Bit of a rough example, but there are some handsome angles, at least so far as I can see from my house... I always liked those yellow lights they used over around France.
 
soft price still today (24Keuro), but I think it has a soft body as well:
Bubbling paint on the middle (just under the corner of the side grille) and bottom of front wing to me is indicative of serious problems with the inner structure; the A-pillar. Rust repairs on E9's don't come more complex then that area.

On the posisive side: a really good interior; all nice, not torn, looking very original in a cool 70's brown on brown color combo.
