I see on RealOEM, that the center bearing is not available.

Will the E28 535i drive shaft(center bearing) fit?

I am putting in an order for my E28 535i and Tii, so will order 3 if it fits the CS.

Part number 26 12 1 226 628 shows in the HTK that it fits 2002, coupe, E24, and E28. Walloth and Nesch shows a different number - 26 11 1 206 502, they both show good with but the price differential - Autohaus Arizona shows the 502 for $13.70, W&N shows it for €34.45, and the dealer list for the 628 is $107.00

Center bearing is readily available from BMW dealers, all of our favorite indepent shops (like La Jolla, Mesa and Steve Haygood) and pretty much any WorldPac distributer (i.e. every online parts source on the internets).

RealOEM.com is not a reliable source for anything other than parts diagrams.

center bearing can be a bitch to get off

damn think likes to stay where it is. Be prepared to apply a variety of efforts to it, including a puller, heat, impact, Kroil, and maybe a press if you have access to one.

Thanks Guys, thanks Honolulu, I will be better for changing it.
The first will be on the 535, the second on the CS, and the 3rd, when I actually get the darn thing (Tii) on wheels.
