I have a set of 1973 chrome bumpers for sale. They have been rechromed and look brand new. All the rubber has been replaced with new oem BMW parts. Have all the hardware needed to mount on a 72-74 (new tube mounts- front) CS. Front and rear factory mounts have been powdercoated also. Bumpers are put together right now but never mounted.
Getting all the parts new from BMW is difficult and very expensive (staggering). Asking $1500 or b.o. You can contact me at: kurtcbicknell@hotmail San Diego area

The `73 uses the hoops in the rear to mount to the body if they are U.S. and the hoops don't mount to the `72 and earlier bumpers, only the `73. I am not in the market but want to help avoid any confusion. Does this make sense?

Dave,

Yes, coupes and 02's both got the one year only extended rear bumpers with hoops and a rubber cover. The steel hoop won't mount to the earlier bumpers without some fabrication according to Coupeking.

Any chance these are still available? Looking for nice pre 74 numbers

Are these available?

Alberto,
You might get better visibility running your own for sale ad, since the last post for this was nine years ago...with some good pictures. Good luck with the sale.
