Chromed brass rear piece

I have a chromed brass rear center piece between taillights off early 2800cs. See pics

all 2800cs had this piece - in my mind, this is the piece to have as it matches the taillights. i know, its correct for the 3.0cs to have the aluminum piece ... this piece just looks soooooo much better.

I've thought about getting the chrome piece and agree it looks better but I just can't kick my original aluminum one out of bed
