I was sitting in my Coupe on my iPhone when I noticed an unfamiliar ticking sound. In my 1 1/2 years of Coupe ownership, this is the first time my clock has worked. I set it to the correct time, and it has been running fine for the last few days. What may have caused it to work, and how do I keep it running ?
( BTW, my Coupe turned 45 years old yesterday, it was produced on 3/18/70)

to make it run all the time a simple fix in the back

The broken PCB trace does not heal by itself. The only things that could have self healed are the contact that closes the coil circuit every minute or so may have closed properly due to movement, or the power connection was flaky.

If it was the contact I believe it will stop again at some time. You can always open the clock and clean it.
