Clutch and flywheel question

I found a rebuilt 3.5 long block with no flywheel attached. Head stamp shows 85. A 5-speed (81 528i) will be used. Can I use the flywheel from the 3.0 motor or should I be looking for a flywheel from a later 3.5 Motor?

Also, should the Sachs clutch kit fit the 81 528i?

You can use the 3.0 flywheel. It is actually advised to do so, since it is lighter than the one that goes with the 3.5 block. I've got the 3.0 clutch and flywheel in my coupe right now with exactly the same setup you are considering.
