I wanted to see who has successfully bought a clutch master cylinder rebuild kit and fixed their tired clutch master. The rebuild kits have very few components.
I have, and it took about an hour to do - very easy if your inner cylinder is in reasonable shape. I wet sanded with 2500 grit foam untill it was smooth and shiney. Repainted it black. Works as new with no leaks. Try to get the Ate kit. Of course there is a DeQ post:
I rebuilt mine when I found that it was leaking fluid into the car and under the carpet. It was very easy to do. I used the same process to polished the bore. It has worked fine for about 15 years.
