Dealer says clutch pressure hose PN 21521116422 is NLA. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement, maybe from a later model, that works for us? Or does someone have one to sell?

BTW The VW fitment was used for the pre-72 early master. I don't know about the later master.

Who's Ben?

Thanks for all the replies guys. Will see what a local hose shop can do and then go from there...

Good answers so far. I had to change mine on my first CS as it was a hose and the hose would rub on the steering u-joint until it wore a hole in the hose :-(

I recommend either making or buying a rigid line. Since your engine shakes relative to the clutch master, get an extra long piece of pre-flared tubing w/ fittings and bend it around a pipe to make a "pigtail" in the tubing. This will act as a shock absorber.

Maybe this is what La Jolla already sells - or an armored stainless steel hose.

Went to two local hydraulic hose outfits including the local Parker store, plus called Napa. None of them could make it. And if they could have, it would have Been way more than 15; closer to $50. Ended up ordering one from Ben. Thanks for all the help.

I guess it is a matter of how the shop is run and the abilities of the people working there. I also am sure our labor rates in Phoenix are quite a bit under much of the country
