My project has been dismantled and restored for 25 year. Only in simple garages (not in a time capsule). Even though many things malfunction. Example: I have a clutch release bearing that spins very easy but sounds "dry". I thought/believe this bearing should have been sealed with grease from beginning and not possible to add grease afterwards (This I believe will grease the clutch as well). Is this correct?
I wonder if I should give it (the bearing) a try, and in worst case change it afterwards.

Stefan,
For the cost of a new one I would replace it so you don't have to get the gearbox out again. I consider it to be a wear item
