Clutch Slave Cylinder Orientation

So, in the on-going and ever expanding 5 speed conversion process, I looked at my clutch slave cylinder and thought "surely the bleed screw is pointing upward, to facilitate air bubble extraction and so that the hydraulic line is not further restricting the extremely small space available to tighten that top left bolt holding the tranny to the bell housing."

No. It goes the other way.

I suppose I should just switch it around and move on, but why the heck is it like this?

Need to bend the brake lines a little more to accommodate the tii booster before I fill and bleed. Initial bends were not quite right.




Yes, correct.

You can put a hose on it and up in a loop and then into a bottle of fluid to bleed.
