Clutch

As part of my restoration (see recently added thread in Projects & Restorations), I plan to fit a new clutch while the engine and gearbox is out of the car. Any tips on what to buy and where to buy it from? Also, anything to avoid?

I purchased a clutch for an e28 m5 from the dealer. I know the dealer prices are higher but I would rather have a good oem part especially if the part is harder and more time consuming to replace such as a clutch.

Use german release and pilot bearings, not chinese.

I note that they charge a €100 deposit suggesting that what they are sending me is recon.... €250 for clutch.. Right price and right quality?
