coffee in the coupe?!?

Well that works nicely, but you had to get rid of your crude oil sucking machine to get there. Btw, what an amazing build. My hats off to your electric conversion. I’d seriously trade two of my e9s along with a few s38 engines for one car like yours

Eric Anton's last center console he made for forum members about a year ago. I also had a power and a USB receptacle installed. The hand brake handle was made out of curly Hawaiian Koa to match the dash. I haven't used the cupholder since the car has not been on a long trip yet. Taking the Apex in 2nd at 4-5K RPM doesn't really work with any type of cupholder anyway...

Zombie thread. Classic.

And, for what it's worth, for years I've been using a cupholder made from a boat cupholder insert similar to these, with a wide base. Add loads of hook-side velcro to the bottom, and "anchor" to your carpet on the transmission tunnel in front of the back-seat. Requires decent carpet and occasional re-seating to ensure it's sticking, and you have to reach back to find it without looking. Not bulletproof, but non-invasive. Only fails with a top-heavy Big Gulp.
