Dos any one know Turquoise Metallic color cod it look like green my silver color E9 turns out green when everything striped for paint under hidden area show original color I think previous owner paint it silver but I am going to paint its original color so please help me to fined 1972 2800cs color code it is kind of dark green I think it is Turquoise Metallic bot I will paint small area to match its original color

A 2800 would have been Tundra Metallic, code 068.
Very likely and beautiful. Or Agave 071, non metallic dark green, though I've probably never seen an Agave E9. Türkis Metallic is a bright blue-green and appeared in autumn 1972 when the 2800 CS was long discontiued.

Very nice color indeed, that is may be why the e9 in the BMW Museum in Munich is Turkis.
Just to complete the thread, I have this rare leaflet announcing this new color dated September 1972.
Next is color chart sept . 73, still available
Then 02/74………gone !!!!

Thanks for the color chart information. I was under the impression that Turkis was a factory color for 3 years starting in 1973. It looks like BMW only had it on 1973 models.

The color pallate from BMW (and other manufacturers) in the 1970's is so vibrant.
In winter 20/21 the BMW E3 Club attempted for a colour timeline, see here: <https://bmw-e3-club.de/lackfarben/>. You can find the link somewhere in the FAQ section, too. Leave off 1976/77 and add Nachtblau Metallic 040 for the E9. The timeline is based on all colour brochures BMW printed then. Hope you like it.
