@merdad Does this look vaguely familiar? It should! It just showed up in front of my home, it’s a bit different than when you owned it. It has a hot rod motor now.

That’s great. It is a great car. I should send you the history of the car. I think it was the first CSi imported to CA back in 1976 or so. It was 99% rust free. Have lots of pictures.
How come Peder sold it?
New owner should apply for its original license plate.

Yes. Blue plates are long gone which is a shame. John would love any history you have Merdad. Peder is thinning his herd a bit I think. The first challenge is to get it registered with a VIN verification.
It is still in the Registry under my name with its history.


He should be able to order the same plates from DMV, since the car was registered in CA from 76
 
Had you ever seen an untouched rockers?

The DMV does not make Blue Plates, you have to find a set and register it as Year of Manufacture or YOM. I think it is still in the DMV system which is rare as it left CA somewhere around 2009?

It was around June 2011
Doesn’t Peder have the plates?
