BTW, this is not the type of shock absorber i have, mine are mounted upside down, i have no mounting nut on top.
There´s a nut is on the bottom of the damper support.
So i will make pictures too..........

hmmm

realoem shows red banded springs for non-AC cars, and white for those with AC (for my '73 CSA)

but red for both in mid 1975 euro cars

Your struts are non-standard, so the springs might have come from any other model...?

I have the 2 colours "green-blue" on one of my sets of springs.
Normally there is only one colour , what means the second colour?
On 2002s, all the springs had 2 colors, one for front or rear and the other for one of three levels of stiffness.

Front springs had blue stripes and rear springs brown stripes. The second stripe was either green, white or red, with green "stiffest" and red "softest". The factory manuals are a little vague about the front/rear colors for E9s.

In my experience, the green/white/red measure seemed to translate more into ride height than suspension stiffness. I had a '72 2002 with green springs that sat about an inch higher than most contemporary 2002s.

I think your right Bill
The colours specified according to the manual I have are for heavy duty front E3 springs.
Oh well will help with the handling :p
