In November,I backed out of the garage for a morning drive and found the brake pedal was not stopping the Coupe as usual. The big fat OEM brake booster almost touching my center DCOE40 Weber carb was not working. With 2 annual car shows coming up, I drove very carefully to them w/o full brake power. And I bought the only restored Tii booster Hal Boyles had in stock. This was the perfect time to get clearance between the booster and the side-draft carb. My mechanic was able to install the booster w/o draining the brake fluid reservoir. The brake pedal pressure to stop the car is slightly more than before. Now I have clearance for an air flow meter to measure each Weber.

You could loctite a matching chrome nut to correct length stud and use in place of front hex bolt; make a dome head bolt.
Are you coming down for the Das Renn Treffen (DRT) show?

Please call me. I don't know about DRT show. This Saturday is Supercar Saturday at the Hard Rock Guitar, and Sunday is Everglades chapter C&C on Powerline Rd. Front hex bolt???

Gerade bei #Kleinanzeigen gefunden. Wie findest du das?

The small one
This still has the large diameter and would not allow any clearance with the side-draft carbs. Here's a better pic showing the Tii booster and carbs .
