I'm about to re-install my center console, after some floor rust and carpet work.

I've searched but I can't seem to locate a write-up or post regarding reinstallation of the center console. It looks self-explanatory, but experience tells me that If I don't do things in the exactly-correct-order, I'll have to re-do it and it'll be winter before I finish the installation.

Is there a tutorial or a quick explanation of the sequence or order of operation regarding this?

Thanks in advance.

Just a minor pointer -
When I installed the side pieces (the ones with the air conditioning grills) I found that the screws had too much play. Using these tightened things up and made the front pieces (the ones with the controls for air conditioning, heater etc) align properly, it also made the side pieces sit higher which interfaced with the dash:
Autotek ATS525CX 250W 5-1/4 2-Way ATS Series Coaxial Car Speaker

And just remember one screw on each side is a machine screw hidden under the side grilles where it attaches to the heater fascia.
