The German commentary makes it more cool.
How did they get that shot at 1:33 and again at 6:43?!? I'm thinking the camera guy was riding on top of the trunk, outside the car.

Couple of other interesting things
This is configured like a lightweight early cars with trunk prop rod and hood pins, but it has 4 electric window lift switches. Most city packs I"ve seen have at most front electric lifts and fixed rears. Many of manual crank fronts.
