Coolant bleed screw - original slot head

I purchased one, came from Latvia ,.. via Ireland ..from a seller on eBay ..in Ireland

With the slotted screw head ? - all i can find are the later socket head bleed screws (which i have already)

Then you already have a better fix. The slotted one can be difficult to open, so I changed mine to the bolt type top and would not consider changing back. I binned the old one, sorry.
If you really want one, take yours and cut the top off, then cut a slot in the middle with a junior hacksaw. Add rust to make it look authentic

You're right Charles, I agree it's a far simpler operation using a spanner. I'm just running out of things to do, so focusing on the details ..

If you need more detail improvements then post some pictures on here and wait for advice on what needs a polish, change or upgrade. That should keep your wallet empty and you occupied. Or come and do some detailing on mine.

There are a lot of Latvians working in Ireland, don't know why! I send all my specialist welding to Latvia, Ramoto in Ogre, best welder I know for irreplaceable 100+ year old parts,
