Cooling fan removal

My goodies arrived from Ireland Engineering to replace all the cooling system parts. Trying to install the water pump.
Is there a special tool required to hold the water pump while removing the bolt holding the fan?

Just hold the fan with your hand.

That doesn’t work - the fan stays still, while the pulley wheel turns when I try to undo the nut with the breaker bar?

Pull up dead hard on the fan belt- now use your 13mm socket.

Oops, you are right! I was assuming a stuck clutch.
