Any of you New Englanders up for the DelVal BMWCCA vintage rally on May 17th (meet place at New Hope, PA, about 1.5 hours south of New York City)...

I will post the event on the board in a week. We also had pics. posted from our last event back on Nov. 3rd...

Please advise,

I end up in Wallingford Connecticut from time to time (new job HQ)
I used to live in West Boylston MA (route 140) so I know New England fairly well, though I am a little out of date

So why, OH WHY, don't you ever come to the annual German Car day in Brookline, MA or local Boston CCA chapter shows? :?:

Want (y)our coupes to appreciate? Get it out there so people can see it! Create the buzz.

Boston (Allston)

I'm in Allston, but my coupe is in so many pieces I may as well be in Pluto.

I agree with Tod B. German Car Day at Larz Anderson is a great event at a great location.

Fellow North East Coasters!

Here are the Boston 'local' events, no chance I will be getting to all of them.... our new baby girl could affect my event aspirations in 2008 :)

I am in the downtown Boston area (yes I have a 6th sense for potholes), so meeting for a coupe cruise north, south or west is good for me.

Stan, are you planning a cruise?

I was thinking of a "cruise to the cookout".
Start where you live, come up a scenic route (to be planned) and hook up with other coupes all the way. Then end at my cottage on Loon Pond, Gilmanton NH for burgers and beer.

Croquet, swimming, bocce, who knows...

Cruise home that evening or pitch tents in the yard (the cottage is only 400 sq ft)

Thoughts?

Keep me posted regarding any plans to hook up with fellowe9er's.
I am trying to put the finishing touches on my '74 Coupe for spring...always some little thing. Now it's a case of rev's flattening out at about 4,000rpm. Taking apart the distributor tomorrow to see if the advance weights are sticking somehow.
My engine is a 3.9 Metric Mechanics Hi-Po mated to a Getrag five speed.
Body has '73 bumpers and paint is Suriman Red.
