these aren't as truthful to the original design ... the coupeking are exact. what is different is that the fins are closer to the edge of the wheel, meaning the curve from the fin to the wheel is much less.

Very helpful. I assume the discussion about Shipping makes the economics a wash to buy them from the UK forum member, is that correct? If so I think I’d opt to buy from CK if I go that route.

I see that now. Thanks for the help. I wonder if that means the non CK ones are more tucked in under the wheel wells?

For the Csl’s it’s 7x14 all around. The staggered Alpina‘s 7&8x16 which most/ many cars have and very similar ones from CK and those that @RTHLSS1 is offering. He’s surely the one to contact directly for details.
15“/ 16” were never part of the original specs. Always 14” rims.
 
Don’t do the eBay wheels, different and not attractive. CK wheels are excellent options. The 16” Alpinas came on e12/e28 from the 80s and are very popular.
