When: Friday April 20, 2012
Where: 880N between Thornton and Decoto exits, then exited Decoto.
What: 3.0CS Automatic, non-original color (super light ceylon, light champagne-ish)
Who: attractive blonde with pony tail, she saw me - smiled and waved

Anyone on the board?

Wait,
Blond, attractive AND driving a CS and you didn't follow her after she smiled at you?!?!?
Did the automatic put you off?

missed opportunity

LOL - I don't think it's gonna help my case if I told you that she actually cut me off to get my attention (was yapping on the phone - hands free!). I was in the lane next to carpool. she cut in front of me waving and smiling, then cut across 4 lanes to get to her exit.

Darn it.

Found it!

Unfortunately not her. Just her husband, I think. Long story short - he's selling a few parts on eBay and I saw that he's local to me. Called him up, met, and mentioned the coupe sighting on 880. Didn't get much info from him, but apparently this is a 75 and was purchased from the first owner who was the Lamborghini dealer in Los Gatos. Interior is in pretty bad shape, needs work. Leather looked decent. He's "working" on it - putting in HID headlights, etc. Here is his expired eBay listing. He still has parts.

And here are a few pics. The headlights are MINE! Muahahaha!

US DOT side markers on the rear fender but not the front? Federalized euro spec, perhaps.

I know it's nitpicking but the whitewalls don't look good with 73' bumpers either...

or 72's upside down?

Yup...mounted upside down as a complete unit (not only the bumper horns). A possible reason for this is maybe the topside chrome has severe rust and this is the only way to hide it.

No wonder the parts set didn't sell, way too much money for a small hodgepodge of mediocre parts.
