Howdy Coupers,

Thought I'd share some pics from this Sunday's Flurry 200! and a couple coupes spotted yesterday and today.

The Flurry 200 was conjured up by a Chico 2002 owner (Joseph O'Neil) and myself designed to rendevous with another vintage rally (SnowBall Rally) in Quincy, CA on Sunday. Its fun when a small mountain town's streets get flooded with 50+ vintage sports cars of all shapes and sizes!

Good times had by all and Hwy 32 around Lake Almanor that back to Chico via hwy 70 are a treat...so is finishing up at the Sierra Nevada Brewery! Put those roads on your list!

Enjoy and keep Couping!

Met a fellow couper from SF on the Snowball at the lunch break who lurks around this board, nice car with Wilwood brakes.

This nice fella had to leave his '62 Ferrari at home because the tires were "tired", so he brought a spare ride...

What are the odds?

Hey, that's my Coupe! Just purchased from EXECMALIBU and on its way to the Pacific Northwest. I have yet to see it in person but am assured by a very astute guy that is is rust free. Will pick it up from the shipper on Thursday. Stand by for details.

THE CAR IS NOT RUSTY... But needs a total restoration.

The car is a Calif Car stored for over 20 years!

It is a 1973 Calif Car with a 4 speed and a Sunroof which is ultra rare! Plus it is a great color combo Dark Blue Metallic/Tan interior...We poked all around the car and rust is not an issue... Once the car is totally restored (including paint, chrome, rubber, interior and full mechanical) the car will be amazing.

Good luck Bill there should be a pot of gold for you at the end of the rainbow after you restore the car.

LOL!

Glad I was there to snap a transport pic for your project's resto book!

Too funny guys ;-)

Jeff/Bill,

Is it in the Registry? One more 3.0 and we will officially have 10% of all U.S./N.A. produced 3.0CS coupes (and 7% of the 2800CS coupes).

Chris

Thanks for the pictures and what are the chances of driving and seeing a coupe on transit to it's new owner on this forum! Congrads on your purchase and I bet you can't wait for Thursday! Oh maybe call the Trucking Co and see if can be Wednesday that's what I would do:)

Although I haven't confirmed it, I doubt it's in the registry. I believe it's an estate car that has been stored 20+ years. I'll put it in as soon as it arrives and I can confirm the details.

I picked the Coupe up from the shippers today and took it straight to my shop for an initial inspection. Jeff is absolutely correct, no rust!!! I put it up on a lift and searched everywhere for any indication of the typical rusty areas. All I can say is I'm glad Jeff didn't want to take on a complete restoration because it allows me to start with a very dry body. Yes it needs everything and I will be looking for a lot of help, especially with the interior.

I just put it in the registry.
