Coupe spotting in NYC

Sunday after dropping my son off in the East Village for 2 months of sleeping on someone's couch he sends me pictures of a blue '72-'73 parked on 1st ave. I never saw it altho we walked within a block of it. Actually did not see any classic cars in the city at all and only a couple of MG's in 300 miles of driving.

My son saw this one in Manhattan last month, perhaps the same one? Don't know why the pics are off 90 degrees, they look fine on the computer.
