A while back it looked as if I would have to sell my 2000CS and parts car, a change in circumstances allows me to keep them around. With that came a resurgence in my interest in research into the obscure. Borrani wire wheels were available on the Alpina modified 2000CS, there are a few examples out there (mostly in Europe). A bit of web research later, it turns out that Borrani is still making wheels and the application for the 2000CS is still in their catalog; of course one would have to order through the authorized reseller (stateside for me). I knew they would be expensive but $8,500 for wheels and adapters was about twice what I expected. Unless anyone has any leads it looks like it's back to my search for Campagnolos.
